Image Editor

In the Image Editor, you can manually apply processes to a page. The processes in the Image Editor are similar to those available in the Process Toolbar for pages in the Workspace, but offer a greater degree of flexibility so you can customize them to suit a particular page.

You can open multiple selected pages in the Image Editor, but processes will only apply to the currently displayed page. The Image Editor is designed for working with pages that are different from the rest, or for performing additional adjustments to pages that have already been processed. For example, you might process multiple documents from the Workspace, then open them in the Image Editor to make sure the OCRed text is accurate. If it is inaccurate for a particular page, you can adjust the processes for that page to achieve more accurate text.

The status bar at the bottom of the Image Editor displays information about the page, including the size in pixels, date taken, and time taken. It also displays a message about the most recent process performed. These messages are also reported to the Processing Information Pane.

To open pages in the Image Editor

  1. Select pages or documents in the Workspace.
  2. Click the Edit all selected images button in the Standard Toolbar, or right-click and select Edit all selected images.
